REINNA est Annie Richard, artiste visuelle autodidacte en voie de professionnalisation, établie sur la Rive-Sud de Montréal. A étudié l’histoire de l’art et ses lectures sur le sujet, et en sciences se rencontrent dans une démarche exploratoire et nourrissent son inspiration, tant personnelle qu’artistique. Son parcours professionnel diversifié nourrit une pratique artistique aux multiples influences. Elle a participé à de nombreuses foires d’art, dont le mythique The Artist Project à Toronto (2023, 2024), affirmant sa présence sur la scène artistique canadienne.

REINNA is Annie Richard, a self-taught visual artist pursuing professionalization, based on Montreal’s South Shore. She studied art history, and her readings on the subject, along with science, converge in an exploratory approach and nourish her inspiration, both personal and artistic. Her diverse professional background informs an artistic practice with multiple influences. She has participated in numerous art fairs, including the legendary The Artist Project in Toronto (2023, 2024), establishing her presence on the Canadian art scene.

La pratique de REINNA s’inscrit dans une recherche formelle et systémique où science et spiritualité se rencontrent. Refusant de choisir entre les mathématiques et l’art, elle explore les structures visuelles et les patterns qui organisent notre perception du monde, dans une quête d’harmonie.
Son approche s’inspire des théories du chaos et interroge cet équilibre subtil entre ordre et désordre. À travers un langage plastique nourri par l’apprentissage continu et la réflexion, elle révèle les systèmes invisibles qui structurent notre réalité. Considérant l’univers comme intrinsèquement magique, elle crée des œuvres qui invitent à une expérience contemplative et à l’émerveillement partagé face aux mystères de l’existence.

ARTIST STATEMENT

REINNA’s practice is rooted in both formal and systemic research, where the exploration of visual structures dialogues with a spiritual quest for harmony. Refusing the dichotomy between scientific rationality and artistic intuition, she develops a visual language that draws as much from mathematics as from wonder at the mysteries of existence.
Her process-based approach is inspired by chaos theories and explores that liminal zone where order and disorder coexist in dynamic equilibrium. Through a perceptual approach attentive to spatial organization, she seeks to reveal the invisible patterns that structure our reality, creating works that invite a contemplative experience.
A deeply curious individual nourished by continuous learning and reflection, she considers the universe as inherently tinged with magic. Her work thus becomes an invitation to share this sense of wonder, a transcendental exploration of the harmony hidden within the world’s complexity.
